Why Sling ?

Throughout time, and still in many places in the world today, babies have been carried in the arms of their mother, commonly in some form of sling. This has been essential for the survival of the human species.
In many countries today, it is no longer essential in terms of surviving. However, it is still essential in terms of thriving.
Babies are born with the innate wisdom that they need to be held close to their mother, and science is now recognizing and validating what mothers have also always known.
A sling is one way of ensuring a baby's basic needs for closeness are being met, whilst allowing the mother the freedom to continue with life, interests, parenting other children and work.
Being close to the mother in a sling means a baby's heartbeat and heat control are naturally regulated.
Breastfeeding ensures optimum physical and emotional health. A sling holds a baby at the mother's breast. Babies who have consistent access to the breast are more efficient and effective breastfeeders.
In turn, a mother who is constantly in touch with her baby is breastfeeding more effectively and, not only producing the correct volume of milk for her baby, but also picking up the baby's scent and producing immunologically, appropriate milk as a result.
Babies who are regularly carried in slings are less likely to fuss and cry, as their basic needs can be met promptly and the movement is soothing and comforting.
One of the greatest, life-long gifts we can give a child is a secure foundation from which to grow. Holding them close is the best way to provide this.
Why 100Knots® Ring Sling ?
100Knots® Ring Slings are anatomically designed for mum and baby. The shoulder part is specially designed to cup the wearer’s shoulder while the rings perfectly fit in the hollow under the shoulder. That specially developed and registered unique shoulder design enables
the sling to perfectly mould into wearers body. Our anatomic shoulder design is a trademark that distinguishes 100Knots® Ring Slings from other baby carriers.
Our ring slings are carefully designed to correctly support baby’s developing spine, hips and legs in every carrying position, as many times proven by paediatricians.
100Knots® Ring Sling is extra wide, allowing even more carrying positions and easy hands-free and hassle-free breastfeeding.
Fabric of the 100Knots® Ring Sling reaches from under the baby's knees to above the baby’s head as this provides stability as well as preventing the head from falling backward or rolling sideways.
As newborn babies lack sufficient control of their heads, 100Knots® Ring Sling is the right choice for your newborn baby or,
as it grows up, a sleeping toddler.
100Knots® Ring Slings are made of non stretch, diagonally woven 100% cotton drill fabric that offers excellent back support in both directions without making the pressure spots on your baby’s developing spine.
Your 100Knots® Ring Sling is not only a healthy carrier for you and your baby, but also a very practical and versatile accessory that allows you to keep your little one constantly close to you allowing you total freedom of movement.
100Knots® Ring Slings will take you to places where you would never be able to go with pram or a stroller.
Because of their open tail design, 100Knots® Ring Sling can also be used as a spare blanket, pram cover, changing mat, breast-feeding shield, shopping trolley strap or cover ... possibilities are simply endless with 100Knots® Ring Slings.
Wearing your baby in 100Knots® Ring Sling
100Knots® Ring Sling is suitable for 0-4 year old babies (up to 16kg) and you can wear it in many different styles, depending on the growth of your baby.
100Knots® Ring Sling has extra wide pouch you and your child will have total freedom with more than 10 safe carrying positions.
While holding your baby in the cradle position, you have a choice of putting the little one in curved (foetal) position, or you can spread baby’s legs.
You can wear your newborn in the cradle position or facing rings. Newborn babies can be also worn upright as the fabric is wide enough to cover your newborn from top to toe.
One of the great features of 100Knots® Ring Sling is that you will be able breastfeed your precious one anytime, anywhere in complete privacy.
Older babies can be worn in the front position either facing wearer or facing the world, on the hip, on the back, or if they want to sleep they can safely be worn in the cradle position.
Toddlers will hop in and out of the sling, on your hip, back, front. Your toddler will finally find some privacy at the public places while breastfeeding.
The greatest feature of 100Knots® Ring Sling is being able to adjust the size, angle and shape of the pouch for any position or age of your baby.
Pouch on 100Knots® Ring Sling can be adjusted freely - you can adjust both inside or outside of the sling separately and independently.
When you need to lift your baby higher on your chest, you can pull the bottom rail. If your baby bends backward, you can tighten the top rail. When your baby is small and goes down to the bottom of the pouch, you can pull only the middle of the tail fabric, and make it shallower.
Attention: Please do not pull on the tail too hard in order to change the size of the pouch when your baby is in the sling. The rings are locked tightly by the weight of your baby, and the fabric will not move. When you need to tighten, please lift your baby up, while pulling the tail with other hand.
Another great feature on 100Knots® Ring Sling is the convenient tail. The tail on 100Knots® Ring Sling does not only look gorgeous, it is also very convenient.
Its primary purpose is to provide privacy while breastfeeding, as well as to provide sun, AC and wind protection to your baby. It can also serve as a blanket, change mat, or a pram cover.
If you do not want your tail to dangle you can simply wrap it around the rings. This beautiful “drape” will definitely accent your fashion coordination.
From the birth all the way to the toddlerhood you and your child will be beautiful, safe, secure and free.
Please note: With every 100Knots® Ring Sling you will receive a 20 page booklet with detailed photographic step by step instructions on how to use your sling.
Booklet also contains wearing tips, warranty, and other relevant information about your 100Knots® Ring Sling.
