To some degree it’s often a case of “pain gain!” yet not always. Remedial massage doesn’t have to be unbearably painful to be effective.
It all depends! Are you young flexible and resilient, well on in years, or somewhere in between?? Do you frequent your fitness club/gym or play sport? Is your job, life or work-role at home, physically and emotionally demanding or draining? Do you feel as though you’re under constant pressure or stress? What value do you place on your health and wellness?
In order to reestablish balance, for most customers we recommend one 50-min massage (minimum) if possible every week for 4 to 5 weeks running. Following that, if you are like many customers who simply enjoy massage, you might like to treat yourself with a massage every couple of weeks or so. A number of customers like massage on a weekly basis. As a maintenance plan, we recommend one per month in order to maintain balance, good mobility, reduce the likelihood of work or sports related injuries or just to simply feel good!
